here is a some information about ISRO (Indian space research organization)


Indian national committee for space research (INCOSPAR) was setup by the government of India in 1962. With the visionary Dr. Vikram Sarabhai. Isro headquartered in Bangalore for the purpose of rapid development of space technology and its application.


Modern space research in india in most visibly traced to the 1920s .when the scientist s.k. mitra conducted a series of experiment leading to the sounding of the ionosphere by application of ground based radio method.
APJ Abdul kalam ,Dr.K Radhakrishnan had given their great contribution in the direction and success of ISRO.


Aryabhatta is India’s first was the spacecraft to be entirely built in the country making a breakthrough in the space mission.Leadership of APJ Abdul Kalam , the satellite launch vehicle(SLV) project was initiated. The aim of this project was to develop the necessary technology to launch satellites.
In 2008 Chandrayaan, county first unmanned lunar probe was launched by ISRO.
ISRO in 2016 also launched indian regional navigation satellite system for marine navigation ,vehicle tracking disaster management.


Space research was further encouraged by the technically inclined Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru .In 1957 the Soviet Union launched Sputnik 1 and opened up possibilities for the rest of the world to conduct a space launch.
The Indian National Committee for Space Research(INCOSPAR) was set up in 1962 by Jawaharlal Nehru, first Prime Minister of the India.
Indian Space Research organization(ISRO),set up at Ahmadabad in 1969 by the Prof. Vikram Sarabhai as chairman.
